The Body Wash

I am always an advocate for something natural where possible but also functional. For me personally, I would have a different body wash for both my gym wash bag and my everyday home routine. For the gym I love having a refreshing ‘cooling’ wash Such as Baxter of California Invigorating Body Wash

The Face wash

Although it’s easier to use one product for body, hair and face wash there is a reason why face washes are different… Well, they are geared up for your face and I feel a specific wash for your face is better. Personally for me I like to have a real deep cleaning face scrub after a hard gym session to really clean the pores such as Bamford's Exfoliating Face Wash. But, if you have very sensitive skin I would suggest an oil free gentle face wash such as, Aesop's Fabulous Face to remove all the dirt and sweat from that workout but not too hard to aggravate.

Tip -  After you have cleansed your face and finished showering it’s always a great idea to turn down the water so you can close the pores before drying.

The Moisturiser

Hydrating externally after your workout is just as important as hydrating internally. After sweating and scrubbing it’s key to pick something hydrating but also not too greasy. Also another thing to take into account is where you are going and what the weather is like. In the summer I would use something light with an SPF, such as the Keihls Face Fuel. Or in the evening on my way our or back to work I would definitely use Bamford's Moisturiser.

The Eye Protector

If you didn’t know, the skin around the eyes is 4 times thinner than anywhere else on your body! Therefore, it is very important to take special care and nourish!  Dr Jacksons 05 face and eye essence! The beauty of this product is it can be also used as a facial moisturiser as well, if you prefer a 2 in 1 product! But for that sensitive skin under the eyes, this baby does the trick beautifully. With Key ingredients such as: Aloe Barbadensis, Rose Water, Roman Chamomile, Baobab and Kigelia. It not only moisturises, but nourishes, protects and makes your skin look fresh!

The Deodorant

This is mostly down to preference. You can go for a fragranced, cooling, roll on, spray on… The choice is yours. For me, I tend to go for a non-fragrance, roll on after my workout. The reason? I’m not really a fan of the old aerosol, not just because of the harm to the environment that they cause but also they are quite irritating to the underarm skin. For a great natural deodorant use i Would go with, Salt Of The Earth natural unscented deodorant.

Duncan Icon - £54.20

The Aftershave

This again is quite a hard one. Everyone’s senses are different. Some may like a woody, a clean, strong, mild or a popular or a less popular to have their own scent! I love aftershave, there’s something about a great fragrance that is just so attracting. It all depends on your preference but if you’re looking for a new scent to try it’s got to be DUNHILL Icon Elite

This is my fragrance as I was lucky enough to work on it and be photographed by the amazing Annie Leibovitz. unlike some products you work on this I honestly love it! it’s my go to daily fragrance. I love all three versions but especially this new one in the black bottle.

The Hair

Being in the fashion industry for what is now 20 years I have had a lot of different hair styles which all come with different products. Here are some of my favourites and depending on what kind of hair you have and where you’re heading off to, these would be my choices…
