The orginal J5

So this recipe is very dear to me as it was one of the first recipes I developed when we had the Juiceman factory in Bristol. Chia seeds are a powerhouse in terms of omega 3 but the problem is in their dry format the goodness is not readily available. So, by soaking them in this juice you are making sure you get all that goodness! Pineapple is a brilliant source of B vitamins which are involved in energy production. This juice will get you going!  The combination of lemon and cucumber is so refreshing and hydrating. For me this is the perfect summer drink so get juicing and be sure to sends me the pictures! Remember shake the bottle or jar as soon as you add the chia seeds or they will all stick together. Enjoy! Makes 500ml - 700ml

Ingredients

  • 1/2 a Pineapple (peeled and cored)
  • 1/2 a Cucumber
  • 1 lemon (peeled)
  • Tsp Chia seeds

Method

Wash and prepare your Ingredients where instructed. Juice your cucumber, lemon and pineapple  in the order they are listed. Pour your freshly juiced juice into a bottle or a jug and add your chia seeds. Shake or stir immediately to avoid 'clumping' of the seeds. Serve and enjoy!
